Before you can install new Photoshop brushes, you will need to find some brushes and download them. There are many places you can find free brushes to download and install. Simply go to the search engine you prefer and do a search for free Photoshop brushes. Once you find the brushes you want to install, go ahead and download all of the ones you want.

Once that file is unzipped, go to the next file and unzip it as well. Continue with the unzipping until you have them all unzipped. Remember where you extracted all of them to because you will need to go to that location and get the files for step 3.

Open the first folder with the .abr file, right click it and click Copy in the drop down menu. You can also click the file and press CTRL C to copy the file. Open your Program Files folder and open the following folders Adobe > Photoshop > Presets > Brushes. Once you are in the brushes folder, right click on a blank space and click Paste in the menu. You can also click on a blank space and press CTRL V to past the file. Leave this folder open and go back to your brush files. Continue repeating step 3 until you have installed all of your brushes. You can then open Photoshop and begin using your new brushes.
